Placing Orders:

- Minimum spends per order is £60.00 excluding delivery charge.

- All orders are to be paid in full 3 weeks before the event. Order over 3 weeks before the event can be secured with 50% of the invoice.  Final 50% to be cleared 3 weeks before the event.

- All weekend Catering orders must be placed on the Thursday before the weekend and before 3pm. Bank holiday and Sunday catering orders are subjected to a £250 minimum order. And will incur a 15% surcharge.

- All next day catering orders are to be confirmed and paid for before 3pm, the day before delivery date.

- All orders must be paid by BACS, online Banking or via Invoice payment link.

- All orders will receive a payment confirmation email, once payment has been received and to confirm your order is with our kitchen.

- Minimum Classic Canapes order of 100 of difference types in the Classic Canape range (Savoury or Dessert).  Minimum order of 50 Buffet Selection of difference types in the from the Buffet Selection range (Savoury or Dessert).

- The client will notify Mix & Blend Limited with the guest numbers for their event.  They have the final numbers when proceeding with placing the order.  Final number and dietary requirements must be emailed to Mix & Blend Limited two weeks before the event.

- If the invoice has been paid for the and client needs to reduce the guest numbers, cost reduction will not be refundable.  If the client would like to increase the guest number, this will need to be paid for two weeks before the event.

Cancellation:

Mix & Blend Limited have a nonrefundable policy for any deposits paid to secure an order.

Orders paid in full minus 50% cancellation fee

50% - If cancelled after 1yr to 2 months of placing the order.

75% - If cancelled after 1 months of placing the order.

100% - If cancelled under 1 month of placing the order.

100% on all next day orders.

To cancel an order please notify us in written via email (info@mixandblend-london.com).

To reschedule an order delivery date, this must be done at least 2 weeks before the confirmed delivery date.  Mix & Blend Limited has a nonrefundable policy for any order date which have been rescheduled and cannot guarantee we will be available for your rescheduled date.

- Cancellation should be communicated via telephone or email.  

- Minimum Classic Canapes order of 100 of difference types in the Classic Canape range (Savoury or Dessert).  Minimum order of 50 Buffet Selection of difference types in the from the Buffet Selection range (Savoury or Dessert).

If you are a company which has multiple departments which places orders with us, if another department accidently cancels or reschedules your confirmed order Mix & Blend Limited will not be liable and will not refund or offer to pay for a new order for the value you paid for your order.  This will need to be addressed with the department who cancelled or rescheduled your order.

Delivery charges: 

Delivery charge will depend on postal code location. Postal code locations in the London Congestion Zone will incur congestion zone charges (£18.00) added to the balance. 

The Client is responsible for ensuring that their delivery and collection instructions and arrangements are consistent with parking restrictions. If the client is unable to provide a suitable loading bay address with adequate unloading space or unrestricted parking within 50 meters of the delivery address Mix & Blend Limited reserves the right to pass onto the customer, the costs of any fines incurred due to delivery / collection instructions which neglect or ignore parking restrictions or incurred in fulfilling the customers delivery.

- Mix & Blend Limited does not liable for any damage to the delivered order due to damage during transportation, please inform our delivery staff and if it cannot be corrected same day, we will refund you part order value, minus 20% administration fee.

- All orders will be delivered at least 20 - 30mins before your event or meeting unless we will be providing an event staffing support in which the event team will arrive one hour before your event starts.

- The client must ensure they or the person receiving the order or handing back catering equipment is available to receive the order or hand over catering equipment.  They must not delay the driver who mostly will have other deliveries to perform and or maybe in a restricted parking zone, due to the client not providing suitable parking for the delivery.

If you have arranged an early morning delivery, you must be available or notify reception/security of the delivery, and they are able to receive the order.

You must notify Mix & Blend Limited when placing the order, the location, floor, person receiving the order full name and mobile number.

If the person receiving the order is not available, and there is no one to receive the order.  The delivery driver has the right to leave with your order to perform other deliveries.  If they have time to come back this will be at their discretion.  Mix & Blend Limited has a non-refundable policy and will not be liable for you not receiving your order.  If a neighbour company is happy to take in your order until you arrive, the delivery driver will take a picture of the handed over order and Mix & Blend Limited will not be liable for any damage or spoiled food, because it has not be stored properly.

If the delivery driver is delivering an order to someone home or private dwelling, they will hand over your order at the front door and will not enter your home.  This is for safety for our delivery drivers.

Food Allegan Information & Food Storage:

Mix & Blend Limited operates in a kitchen that handles the 14 food allergies like products containing nut, gluten, and other allergens, and, whilst taking all necessary precautions, will not take any responsibility or be liable for any medical issues caused as a result of nut consumption or any other allergy flare.

Under the provisions of the legislation Food Safety Act 1990, Food Hygiene (England), Regulations 2013, Regulation 852/2004 Mix & Blend Limited is required to monitor the safety of the food at all steps in the process from purchasing through to service to the end consumer. Currently Mix & Blend Limited provides this service with the end process completed on the Client’s premises or delivered. It is not possible for Mix & Blend Limited to monitor the safety of foods left with the Client and therefore Mix & Blend Limited is not liable for any leftover foods left on the premises.

- Mix & Blend Limited create a lot of our menu meals ourselves but does sometimes have to source some of its products from third-party providers.  We check all labelling and products for allergy, nutrition and quality of the content, so we can inform you.  We are not liable for any ingredients in the products which the third party have not listed on their food packaging or website.

- The client must have suitable refrigerated storage for food items to be chilled until ready to serve your guests.  Mix & Blend Limited as a non-refundable policy and will not be liable for orders the client has left out and the food has been spoiled due to not storing the delivered order to the labelled conditions.

Mix & Blend Limited create some of the foods we sell, not limited to sourcing ingredients and products from third-party providers to create the platters and food products that we sell. Mix & Blend Limited will source ingredients and products from Farmer's Markets, Supermarkets, Wholesalers and private licenced food suppliers.

Mix & Blend Limited menus are also based on seasonal fruits and vegetables, and we try our utmost to ensure we purchase British locally sourced produce.  If for any reason, we are unable to obtain a particular ingredient or product we will source an alternative option.

- If you or your guest has an allergy, it is your responsibility to inform us upon placing your order.  Our customer service team will be happy to suggest alternatives.

- We label all our food products informing you of any of the 14 listed food allergens present in the product.

Hiring Catering Equipment:

- Mix & Blend can offer catering equipment for your event consisting of but not limited to serving crockery and cutlery, serving platters, side and dinner plates, knives, forks and spoons.  

- Some catering equipment is on hire from a third-party catering equipment company.  The client will be held responsible for any breakages, damages or lost items.  Mix & Blend Limited will not be liable for any loss, damaged or breakages for the hire equipment and any cost Mix & Blend Limited incurred will be passed on to the client.

- The cost for any broken, damaged or lost items, will be subjected to the full cost to replace that particular item by the third-party catering equipment company.  This will also incur a 15% charge on top of the replaced item cost, for our administration.  

- A breakdown of charges will be present in the Catering Agreement, which will be sent to you once your order has been confirmed.

- All loan catering equipment must be cleaned (rinsed under warm water and wiped and dried – (PLEASE DO NOT USE CLEANING PRODUCTS.  WE WILL DEEP CLEAN ONCE COLLECTED) and placed in its original packaging in which it was delivered to you.  This will be collected on the following day of your hire duration before 1pm.

- Any hired catering equipment will be delivered to the agreed venue along with the rest of the catering order.  The catering equipment will be collected the following day from the same venue they were delivered to and will be the responsibility of the client until collected.  If the venue is not opened on the day of collection.  The client must notify us before the completion of the order for the catering equipment to be collected from an alternative location.  This location must be no further than 6miles from the venue.

If the client has not notified us of the venue being closed on the catering equipment collection date, or the client is not available at the alternative location, the client responsible for a daily charge of £20 per day and the £25.00 collection charge for the collection driver to return for the catering equipment.

Event Staffing:  Workspace, Venues & Homes

The client will provide a clean working space for the event staff to prepare the food to be served to the client and guest.  All foods will be cooked and created in the Mix & Blend Limited kitchen.  The items which will be served will already be cooked and will need to arrange on platters to be served.

The working space must be a space away or separated from the guests, so the event staff can carry out the preparation.  To avoid a spilling, burns or harm to the event staff and guest.

Mix & Blend Limited policy is to ensure the client(s) provides a safe space for our staff to provide a professional delivery or food catering service for their event or service.  We do not and will not tolerate any form of abuse (Physical or Verbal) towards our staff.  Any abuse to our staff when carrying out their duties, will result in the incident being reported and logged with Management. Mix & Blend Limited reserves the right to cancel the service they are providing at the delivery or event and will report the incident to the Police.  No refund or compensation will be offered to the client for us withdrawing our services.  If this incident is reported to the Police, we will also seek Law proceeding to sue the client for any damage or hurt caused to our staff.

Mix & Blend Limited are not liable for any damage, breakages, losses which may have occurred at the workspace, venue or home when providing a food catering service of delivering a food order.

Promotions and Discounts:

- Mix & Blend Limited promotions and discounts will indicate a promotional start and end date.

- All Mix & Blend Limited promotions and discount apply to one order only and have a minimum spend of £300.00 on the order.

GDPR:

- In line with the GDPR 2024 Mix & Blend Limited will require the following details to process your order:

- Full Name

- Business Address

- Delivery Address and Postal Code

- Email Address

- Telephone

- Contact name and mobile number of the person receiving the order on the day (this will be placed on the delivery note only).

Mix & Blend Limited will only store your information with your consent and inform you of the following:

- To process your order

- Updates/New menu options

- Marketing promotional offers and discounts

- Dates of food & drink events we may attend/participating

Force Majeure:

Mix & Blend Limited cannot accept any liability where performance or prompt performance of Mix & Blend Limited contractual obligations is prevented or affected due to strike, pandemic, lockout, hostilities, or any other circumstances outside Mix & Blend Limited control amounting to force majeure.

The Company accepts no liability for any loss, damage or consequential loss caused by Mix & Blend Limited failure to perform its obligations (whether that failure is due to negligence on the part of Mix & Blend Limited, its officers, employees, or sub-contractors or due to other causes) but nothing herein shall exclude Mix & Blend Limited obligation to pay compensation for death or personal injury as required by law.

Confidential Information:

Confidential information (the "Confidential Information") refers to any data or information relating to Mix & Blend Limited which would reasonably be considered to be proprietary to the Client including, but not limited to, accounting records, business processes, and client records and that is not generally known in the industry of the Client and where the release of that Confidential Information could reasonably be expected to cause harm to the Mix & Blend Limited.

The Parties each agree that they will not disclose, divulge, reveal, report or use, for any purpose, any Confidential Information belonging to either Mix & Blend Limited or the client which they have obtained through the operation of the Contract, except as authorised by Mix & Blend Limited of the client or as required by law. The obligations of confidentiality will apply during the term of this Contract and will survive indefinitely upon termination of this Contract.

All intellectual property including recipes, formulas or similar related material (the "Intellectual Property") that is developed or produced under this Contract, will be the property of Mix & Blend Limited.
